Waste-to-Energy

Waste to Energy

Lr. Energy’s versatile technologies accept a wide range of carbon containing feedstock and can be used for direct and indirect energy production making them highly adaptable to desired applications.

Our indirect energy technology has a Synthesis Gas (SYNGAS) intermediate to produce steam, electricity, petroleum liquids, direct gas and specialty chemicals.

Feedstocks include biomass, waste coal, low grade coal (coking + brown coal), municipal solid waste and underground methane gas/ natural gas.

Combined Heat & Power

Conventional CHP

Operational excellence is the driver. With an overall 75% thermal efficiency compared to the 50% of traditional separate heat and power systems, CHP technology provides notable savings while meeting the baseload needs.

With our full-scale EPCM capability, CHP systems are available as Turnkey projects using a single fuel to produce power and heat.

Process Optimization CHP

Driven by the need to minimize waste and costs, we use S.M.A.R.T. ® Engineering technology to integrate processes. Our approach realizes reduction in utility requirements (both hot and cold utilities). The approach is applicable for the recovery of waste heat from evaporators, steam lines and the exhausts from furnaces and kettle. The waste energy recovery CHP system is fit for purpose.
